Actor, Surfer, and Lifeguard Passes Away After Oahu Incident

Tamayo Perry, 49, was killed on Sunday afternoon while surfing on the East Side of Oahu.

Tamayo Perry, a well-known surfer and lifeguard, passed away after injuries from a shark attack that occurred on the East Side of Oahu.

Perry appeared in a Pirates of the Caribbean movie and was known for his brave and audacious surfing skills. He was an eight-year veteran of Honolulu Ocean Safety and a well-known North Shore waterman. Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi expressed his condolences to Perry's family and friends, saying, "Tamayo was a beloved member of our community and will be deeply missed."

The incident is under investigation by the Honolulu Police Department.
